Hemo-maxxing
A downloadable hemo_maxxing for Windows
This game uses a real, calibrated neural network to estimate your hemoglobin concentration. You must then score highly on a number of questionable heuristics approximating multiple biological functions.
Note: this project is a joke. Please do not try and deliberatly increase your blood pressure beyond healthy limits, or hold your breath for a dangerous amount of time.
# HemoMaxxing™

## How to Play
- Requires webcam and incandescent/daylight lighting
- Hold your breath to maximize QBI (Questionable Biometric Index)
- Stay still and watch your hemoglobin percentage
- Compete for high scores on the leaderboard

- Enter: Start/Confirm
- Backspace: Delete character
- Escape: Skip to results

Install instructions
### Step 1: Download
- Download `HemoMaxxing-Windows.zip` from itch.io
- File size: ~500-800 MB
### Step 2: Extract
- Right-click `HemoMaxxing-Windows.zip`
- Select **"Extract All..."**
- Choose a location (e.g., Desktop, Documents)
- Click **Extract**
### Step 3: Allow Webcam Access
When you first run the game, Windows may ask for webcam permission:
- Click **"Allow"** when prompted
- If blocked, go to: Settings → Privacy → Camera → Allow apps to access camera
### Step 4: Run the Game
- Open the extracted `HemoMaxxing` folder
- Double-click **`HemoMaxxing.exe`**
- Wait a few seconds for the game to load (TensorFlow initialization)
